VISA Requirements
After all VISA requirements have been met and your application has been approved, payment can then be made.

1. Anyone wishing to visit the Democratic Republic of Congo, must have a Covid-19 certificate attesting to their status 72 hours before travel.

2. For Kenyan Citizens, the process will take 3 working days.

General Requirements
- The passport must be valid (6 months maximum)
- Photocopy of the passport in color
- The passport must have at least two blank pages for a visa stamp
- Residence permit for non-Kenyan citizens (maximum 6 months)
- A passport photo in color, front view with ordinary light
- Means of stay to be justified
- Valid vaccination certificate
- Indicate the reasons for the trip to DR Congo
- Strictly complete the visa application form

Specific Requirements
1. Public Institution:
The applicant must submit an invitation legalized by the inviting organization.
N.B: THE LETTER OF INVITATION FROM THE DRC MUST BE CERTIFIED BY EITHER THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE DRC, OR BY THE NOTARY OF THE CITY IN THE DRC.
2. Candidate invited by a natural or legal person:
Sponsorship issued by the headquarters of the Department of Immigration of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
3. Economic Operator or Investor:
Bank statement justifying the means of stay in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
4. Student:
Proof of admission to the registered institutes or universities.
5. Person of the scientific, cultural and sports operator:
Legalized invitation issued by the inviting Organization.
6. Journalist:
• Press card
• Cover permit issued by the Ministry of Communication and Media.
7. Member of NGOs:
Deed of agreement or an invitation from the Ministry of Planning.
8. Member of a religious organization:
• Mission order
• Certificate of missionary service
• Certified invitation letter from the religious organization in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
9. For tourism purposes:
• Formal request from the applicant
• Bank statement justifying the means of stay in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
